20 gauge, 3/8 inch (10mm) 316L Surgical Stainless Steel Straight Barbell with two tiny blue anodized, 1/8 inch (3mm) diameter, externally threaded stainless steel end balls. Tighten these balls often during use. End balls will loosen with wear and must be tightened often to avoid loss. We suggest using latex gloves to hold the jewelry while tightening the balls. This stops the jewelry from spinning and allows the ball to be tightened more securely.Length is 3/8 inch (10mm). Stem length is measured between the end balls and does not include the end balls or the threading on the barbell.
This item is suitable for 20 gauge piercings, which is the thickness of a regular fashion earring. These should fit piercings done at Claire's or another mall piercing location. Piercing and Tattoo shops normally pierce with 16 gauge, which is much thicker. Please check with the person that did your piercing if you are unsure of the gauge you need.
