The barbell is 18 gauge, 1/4 inch (6mm) long, 316L Surgical Grade Stainless Steel with one 1/8 inch (3mm) diameter, externally threaded end ball. The barbell cannot be changed on this item. Tighten these balls often during use. End balls will loosen with wear and must be tightened often to avoid loss. We suggest using latex gloves to hold the jewelry while tightening the balls. This stops the jewelry from spinning and allows the ball to be tightened more securely.
